"Following Your Interests" feature on HomesBIS is revolutionary in the social media world. Most social media sites allow users to follow people, not interests. You may connect with your friends on Facebook, follow people on Twitter, Flickr, and Instagram. But HomesBIS is changing the formula by allowing you to follow Interests and people too.

By letting you follow Interests, HomesBIS increases the likelihood that your home page feed filled with photos and content you’ll want to see, potentially making the platform even more functional and makes your experience browsing more enriching.

"You do not need to search the platform

or visiting Designs Library every time,

you will find all your interests in one place."

For example, you may be in the process of renovating your garden and want to discover ideas and get inspiration from gardens photos. Therefore, you can choose the garden as one of your interests, and HomesBIS will display all the garden photos on your home page feed.

 

Where HomesBIS Displays Your Interests?

When you log in to your account, click on HomesBIS logo on the platform's top left.

You will see all your interests’ photos in this section.

“Project photos that are relevant to your interests

will display on

your HomesBIS main page feed.” 

How do you change your interests in HomesBIS?

If you have noticed that upon registration, you have seen this feature, and You may have selected some of these interests, which, as you may have guessed, are of no interest to you at all, and you may want to unfollow and remove some of these interests.

To Remove, Unfollow, or Add Interests, do the following:

• Log in to your account

• From your Dashboard, visit the "Home Improvement Insterests" panel, then click "See All Interests"

• From the new pop-up, you can select and new interests by clicking on any rectangle.

• If you want to remove your existing interests, click on x inside the rectangle

• After you select/unselect interests, scroll down and click “Update” to make your changes active.

Note: You should select at least 5 interests.
