How to submit a service or project request

HomesBIS is a great community that discusses everything about homes and related services. It is a place to get inspiration and discover designs and ideas and allows you, as a homeowner, to find the best companies and professionals who can help in your project, service, or addition that your home needs.

When you have a project, whatever its type or size, from land settlement to building houses to cleaning services and daily needs, you will find your needs in our platform with the best price.

How “service request” works in simple steps: 

  1. Go to our "Get Free Quotes". 

  2. In the search bar, type what service (project) you are looking for. You can also pick it from “alphabet Search” or “Service by Category”

  3. Enter your city. (Our system will automatically detect your city; if not, please enter your city manually)

  4. Click Start. 

Next, you will find a set of questions and each question contains a set of options or answers related to your project.
We have created these questions and their answers precisely because they will help companies know your project requirements better.

Later on, add your preferences for language, budget, and communication way. As you choose these preferences, your results show you companies who fit your job.
You will receive up to 10 price quotes, from up to 10 companies… Compare between them then choose the best offer that fits your needs.

Tip: You can also find these projects or services in our companies directory. Just discover the category you want, and you will see related services for that category.

Questions in the project process:

Your request is what we send out to the companies. It is the only thing they have to determine if they are interested and available to help. Whenever you provide adequate information, this will help companies know your project better and provide you with the best price.

We will ask you a series of questions. Some are multiple choice for convenience, and others require you to write in your answer. While some questions do not require an answer, we suggest you answer each question to the best of your ability.

Tip: Companies are less likely to respond to customers who have incomplete requests.

In addition to answering all of the questions, we highly encourage you to leave a company a message. Talk in detail about your project requirement; you may add extra things you did not find when answering our questions.

We prefer not to leave the project details section empty; fill it even if that message is as simple as "Looking forward to hearing from you" it will go a long way. Also, to ensure the companies know you are serious about your request, leave your phone number for them. We only share your phone number with up to 10 professionals or companies, so you will not receive an overwhelming amount of calls.

Tip: When you left your phone number, you can set your preferences to choose how companies contact you (Phone call, Email, WhatsApp). We expect companies will respect your choice and they will contact you only by the way you prefer.

Adding photos:

A picture’s worth a thousand words. So, when you come to the photos upload section in your project request, add as many photos as possible to give companies and pros a better idea of what you need to be done.

Some tips for uploading photos:

  • Upload photos of the space you need to be painted.

  • Upload photos of your kitchen you want to fix or renovation.

  • Upload photos of your garden where you want to install sod.

  • Upload photos of your backyard where you want to build a pool

  • Upload photos of ideas you find in a magazine or anywhere, and you want the same design.

  • Upload photos of couple tile or stone patterns you like.

 

Adding files:

You can also upload a company price quote for your project if you want to compare or get a better price with the same specification from more companies, or you can upload a file containing technical specifications for your project.

Tip: When you add a company price quote to compare, we recommended removing the company name, logo, and contacts.

How to add pictures to a project request:

The next time you start a project, look for the option to add photos of your project. Then follow these steps:

  1. Click Add Photos & Files.

  2. Select the photo(s) or file(s) you want to add.

  3. You can remove a photo or file by clicking the X in the top right corner of the image.

  4. Click Next when you’re done adding photos & files.

Tips:

  • You can add several photos or files. Just highlight and upload.

  • Upload any photos or files while you’re adding details about your project. You won’t be able to add (or remove) photos or files after your project reaches out to a company.

Budget:

We hope you specify your budget range for the project; this will help us send your project to the appropriate companies that are carrying out the project within your budget scope.

You can choose one of the following budget options:

  • $ (Low): This means your budget for this project is low.

  • $$ (Medium): This means your budget for this project is medium.

  • $$$ (medium to high): This means your budget for this project is medium to high.

  • $$$$ (very high): This means your budget for this project is very high.

  • Not sure: This means that you do not have a visualization at the moment, and you want to know the prices to decide which one matches your budget.

Or you can put the budget amount in (Other) area.

 

Communication & quotation language:

We at HomesBIS understand homeowner's needs; for that, we provide them with an option that allows them to deal only with companies that speak their language. In this way, we eliminate error margin or misunderstanding when communicating or upon receiving the quotations. By selecting the communication` language, we only send your project request to companies that can communicate with your preferred language.

You can choose one of the following languages:

  • Arabic

  • English

  • French

 

Communicate & quotation ways:

With HomesBIS, you can tell companies how you want them to contact you, no need to worry about receiving multiple phone calls anymore.

You can choose one of the following methods of communication:

  • Phone calls

  • WhatsApp

  • Email

We will pass these preferences to the companies involved in pricing your project. We expect them to respect your requirements; however, you can request from any company that does not respect your wishes to stop immediately.

After you create a request, we send it out to up to 10 of our network trusted companies and professionals in your area to get you some price quotes. The companies and professionals have the ability to review the details of your request and reply if they are interested and available to meet your needs.

Depending on the selections you made when you created the request, the companies and professionals quote will have a custom message, general business information, and contact information. In addition to the information listed, you will also see reviews, a price, links to the company’s or professional’s personal. You have all of this information at your disposal and ready to help you make the right hiring decision.

 

Reply on companies quotes:

You can reply to any or all quotes you receive through our platform and/or you can also call the companies directly. Messaging back and forth on our platform is a great way to start the conversation, but you are free to move the conversation to a phone call as you please.  

 

Compare companies price quotes:

When you receive quotes from companies, we advise you not to focus on the lowest price, although it is most important to many customers. Compare these offers with services accompanying them and after service` guarantee, if any.

If you see a company offer that you like, view his profile to see what sets him apart from other companies. You can:

  • Read reviews: This is a great way to understand the quality a company offers. You can also see a company’s star rating and specific areas his customers rate him highly for, like professionalism, communication, and value.

  • See projects: Look at the company’s projects photos. Past projects give an idea of his work quality and whether he’s right for your own project.

 

Remember:

  • HomesBIS is not responsible for any company that you choose. You must ensure that this company is compatible with your project it has entrusted to it.

  • HomesBIS will not guarantee any financial transactions between you and any company on the platform. You must study all the details of the work, the methods of payment, and everything necessary.

  • HomesBIS do not collect any commission from you or the company for the project or work you have agreed upon.
