How does project request work?

1. Post your job for free: Answer our questions and give us your job details and contact information. We will guide you through the following steps:

   • What needs to be done

   • Where the job is located

   • When the job should start

   • Your approximate budget

2. Get up to 10 quotes: We send your job details to the relevant companies and professionals in your area. Up to 10 companies and professionals will see your contact details and follow-up with you to quote.

3. You Decide: We will send you a profile link and review rating for each company or professional participate in your project pricing to help you choose the right for your job.

4. Rate your company: When the work is complete, leave a review for your company or professional on his quality of work, communication and value for money.

Our intelligent project request system is open 24 hours a day so feel free to post a job online, anytime.

You can post a job or project from any of the following:

• Companies and professionals’ category pages (Professionals Directory) in "Related Services" section.

• By visiting our project request section (Get Free Quotes)

• BY visiting any company profile, and send private project request, by clicking on "Get a Quote" button

First, we will ask you to enter a few details about the job you need doing. Be as descriptive as possible to get the best responses from our professionals. Then we need your contact details so when we match your job to suitable professionals, then they will contact you (a maximum of 10 companies and professionals).

How to get the best response to your job post:

• Choose the correct category so the right companies and professionals see your job.

• Explain what you need doing with details such as sizes, if you need materials or if you have special requirements.

• Add photos that describe the work location, idea or design you want.

• Do your research before hiring, get a budget in mind and check that it is realistic.

• Verify your email and phone number, many companies prefer to call and so keep a check on your phone

• If you are unable to speak to the companies you can add email or WhatsApp as your preferred way to contact.

 

What questions do I need to answer when creating a project pricing request? 

We have developed a set of questions related to the type of your project that you requested, you just have to answer these questions as accurately as possible, then we will direct these questions and answer to a group of companies working in your project field. These questions will help them to know better about your project requirements and specifications. No need to receive many calls and emails asking you for more details.

 

Should I add photos to my project request?

Yes, if you have photos to add, you should. Photos of your job will help companies better understand your job requirements and provide a more accurate quote. Companies and professionals are also more likely to respond to a job that includes extra information, such as photos.

You should also add any plans, drawings or other images that could help the companies better understand your requirements.

 

When I answer my project questions, the system asks me to define my budget, what is this feature?

We have thousands of companies in our platform, some of which have certain requirements for projects that they accept. When you define the scope of your budget for the project, we send your request to the companies that we believe have the ability to execute your project according to your budget, thereby ensuring that we do not send your project to companies below your requirements level, or companies that exaggerate their prices.

 

I do not know Arabic, and I want companies that will provide me with a quote on my project to communicate with me in English, do you have a solution?

With HomesBIS, you can request to be contacted in any language you prefer (English, Arabic, French). We have created a system that sends your project to companies that speak and communicate in your preferred language. I don't want companies that will price my project to bother me with their phone calls. do you have a solution?

With HomesBIS, you can request to be contacted only with one of the following methods (phone calls, WhatsApp, email). You will find these options within the project application procedures. We will pass on your preferences to our listed companies, and we expect them to respect your requirements. However, you can ask any company that does not adhere to stop immediately.

 

Do I need to sign up to submit a project or job request?

You may browse our companies and professionals’ directory on our platform as a visitor and without signing up. You will be prompted to create an account when you submit a project, so we can help you connect with reliable contractors in your area. By creating account, you can get quote price and manage your project request through our amazing system. Remember all our service is 100% free to you!

 

Why do you need my name and contact details?

Our companies and professionals will call you only if you allow them to.

To keep the market competitive and protect your personal information, a maximum of 10 companies and professionals can view your name and contact details. So, all you have to do is post your job and the professionals will come to you.

 

Why can’t I update my project request?

You can’t update your service or project request after you submit it. But you can go to your “Quote Center” in your dashboard and see the companies that participate in your project pricing, then you can send a message to each company containing the updates or modifications that you want to add.

 

What if I need more than one job or project doing?

Firstly, this is exactly what HomesBIS is here to help with. If you want best chance of getting responses, you should split your jobs up by the profession that do each job.

There is no limit to how many jobs you can post at any one time but please only submit one version of each job.

Some jobs we understand require lots of different skills, such as getting a new kitchen and so we have categories specifically for these types of jobs. If you can't find the category for your job, it is possible we don't currently have enough companies to be able to offer it to our customers. We do have a selection of specialist companies which can be found here.

 

How do I choose the right company for my project or work?

Congratulations on posting a new project or service request! You can now hire a company or professional to finish your work, but who to choose?

We suggest you review the offer price and what it includes (by checking the offer details)

Offer price:

This is probably the most important thing you considering when you want to hire a company. If the company is offering a much lower price compared to their competitors, then it may be the best choice for many. But this rule is not always correct, and sometimes this biggest “No, No” sign.

If it’s too good to be true then it probably is. They will probably use cheap materials and handle the construction project poorly. Sometimes there are extreme risks when you are hiring a low-cost construction company. We recommend that the lowest price be a secondary factor in your choice and we advise you to check out the company' personal profile pages. Keep an eye out for:

• What they have written about themselves in their "About Us"

• Past work that they may have uploaded to their "Projects" section

• Their license (if the project requires that)

• Star rating and reviews (from previously completed projects)

If you’re still not sure that is not enough and would like to know more, you can visit their "Posts & Replies" section to see how he reply on members questions or he is involved in any discussions. (If he has)

Keep in mind that HomesBIS does not support any company or professional, and we do not advise you to choose one. You must decide by yourself.

There are no obligations to accept an offer until you're 100% confident. So, take your time and choose the best one that can finish your project or work!

 

Can I ask companies or professionals questions about their price quotes?

You are always free to call, email or text with the companies, professionals or service providers about their price quotes.

Here are some basic tips to follow when hiring a local contractor or service provider:

• Confirm whether licensing is required in your area for the work requested.

• See his review rating and feedback from his former clients.

• Get a written, itemized contract. Be wary if you’re asked to put down a large cash deposit before a contract is signed and you haven't vetted the company.

• Always go with your instincts. If something feels off, do not proceed.

 

Can I meet with company or professional before I decide which quote to accept?

Yes. You can call, email or text any of the companies or professionals to conveniently schedule an appointment and in-home estimate.

 

I did not find the project I am looking for in the list of projects. What should I do?

It may be difficult for us to cover all projects. In the near future we will add more projects types. Currently you have to go to the "Get Free Quote" section and search by category or alphabetically or you can go to the "Companies Directory" section and go to the category of companies that you see are specialized in carrying out your work. You will find there a general project request, just choose it and write your requirements details and upload necessary photos or file if possible, and we will send your request to the relevant companies.

 

Must I wait to receive 10 quotes from the 10 companies before I choose one?

No, you can choose the best price offer that you think is appropriate for you without having to wait for the other quotes from the other 10 companies that participate in the pricing of your project. Some companies may not be interested or have additional projects at this time. As we recommend, if you are not in emergency case, you can wait 24 hours from time you post the project request. after that time, you can compare and choose the best.

 

Can I request a quote from a particular business?

Yep, if you have found the company or professional you are looking for, just click on his profile and there will be a "Get a Quote" button at the side of the page in his "Contact Info" section. You can request a direct quote on the services or projects that he has chosen.

 

Can I submit a service or project request at night and still expect to receive a prompt response?

Yes, you can submit a request at any time, our system work 24/7. Please note that many companies may not answer the phones at night or on parts of the weekend so you may not receive a prompt response so, you have to expect a little delay if you wish to receive multiple price quotes from multiple companies and professionals.

 

What should I do if I don't see any companies that are supposed to price my project?

We don’t assume that will happen, but these are some cases:

• There are no companies selected your project as a service they provide, visit us after a few days, there may be companies in the future.

• There are no companies that can do your project according to the budget that you set; you have to change your budget.

• There are no companies that can communicate in the language you selected; you have to change the communication language.

 

What should I do if no companies have contacted me after I posted my project request?

We don’t assume that will happen, most jobs get serviced within hours of posting, but unfortunately sometimes due to seasonality and availability, some companies may not be interested or have additional projects at this time.

As we recommend, if you are not in emergency case, you can wait 24 hours from time you post your project request. after that time, if you did not receive any price offers, then you can post the project request again.

 

What if I’m just looking for a quote?

Our Companies and professionals spend a long time studying your project requirements to provide you with the best price quote, so to ensure the quality our platform and not to waste our Companies and professionals time, we ask that you only post jobs that you intend to have completed.

But keep in mind, we have the best and you will find the best price offer ever.

What if I changed my mind after I requested quotation for my project?

The decision to cancel a project before you hire any company is up to you and there are no fees. You are responsible only after you hire a company to do your projects and this company started the work, at that moment the decision to cancel must be done between you and that company.

 

How can you guarantee the quality of a company or professional’s work?

The companies and professionals on HomesBIS platform operate as independent companies and are not working on behalf of HomesBIS, so we cannot guarantee the quality of their work. We can guarantee that these companies and professionals agree to abide by our code of conduct before they be listed in our platform.

What we can guarantee also, is to publish all reviews - good and bad. This means that our companies and professionals work well because their reputations are at stake, one sloppy job and they lose customers.

Our system gives you peace of mind, you know what others have written about each company, and that it is in their interests to work to the best of their ability every time.

So, the best way to ensure quality workmanship is to review the ratings left by previous customers on the company or professional’s quality of work, communication and value for money. Also, you can see photos of their projects quality to help you make an informed decision.

 

Do HomesBIS act as a mediator between the client and the company who will do the project?

We do not do any intermediate roles, and we never provide any guarantees for the client or the company executing any project. Financial and contract terms in any project that takes place between any client and company It is their own matter, and they must preserve their rights without HomesBIS being a third party.

 

Does my project or service payment to companies go through HomesBIS or do I deal directly with the companies?

You and your project`s company will work directly with one another to finalize and handle payment. HomesBIS has nothing to do with your contract terms with any company you hired through the platform, and any matters related to payments and how they are collected.

 

What should I do if a company or professional asks me to pay an initial payment?

This is common as many companies or professionals require an initial payment to help them cover the cost of materials, etc. and get started. However, we never recommend paying the entire amount up front.

Note: HomesBIS do not do any intermediate roles, and we never provide any guarantees for the client or the company executing any project. Financial and contract terms in any project that takes place between any client and company It is their own matter, and they must preserve their rights without HomesBIS being a third party.

 

Can I post project or job for a friend or family member?

Sure, you can. There are thousands’ of HomesBIS members who have requested a job or project for a friend or relative even if they live out of city.

 

Internet access is not readily available to me. Are there other ways of using HomesBIS’s service?

At this time, we do not provide phone service where consumers can make a request, but we are planning to do that in near future.

You can ask one of your friends or relatives who have internet access to request a project or service on your behalf.

 

Can I use HomesBIS if I living in a rental home?
